1 reason why Emilia the piano came into my house

Dear Sam,

your knees are always sort of flexible but I swear that this special interpretation of Bach´s Goldbergvariationen makes my knees weak! especially the transition around from the calm intro into the 1st variation (02:53).

(also in the link-list)

Also, a big hug tp all of you and just so you know, my project is on the way, dear! Everything will be fine:)

Pig Power! :)

UGAH DOOOOOOOOOOOH! :)

Dear all,
I haven´t written to you in all a while but... here I am again, this is Sam, see me here with my friend Emilia playing!

You guys, I have spent my first year here in Köln and I have seen so many things, people and I love my home! My friends - be they furry, human or wooden are great and last Sunday I had a blast with so many of them, it was my first birthday (or"buy-day" for that matter :) ). Not all of them but a lot of them anyway.

Anyway, we are up to a new adventure and I have sworn to secrecy, but if I understand well, Birgit is up for something!
She is getting stubborn and she is setting up something in her mind which is good I guess, fancy from a monkey´s point of view, but goood.

Shall she be busy throughout the next weeks and not find the proper time to do so, I wish to herewith hug all of you out there. I guess Birgit would rather point to remind you of the beauty in life and that you guys demand everything you deserve, it is good to have you here at soonissimo.

As to my own goals which I had jotted down in February, I would like to say  that I still have some way to go until I will travel with other fluffy fellows in Munich.

I wish to have a party with all of you asap, which should be impossible to manage,
but a wish is a wish!

Birgit, I wish to keep the red scarf you gave me on my buy-day! (In fact, I wear it all the time now and in pet´s world this means KEEEEEPING :)

And that I need a bath, soonissimo, so I will demand it right now, thinking of all of you whilst I swim in the sink.

The fluffiest hug ever to all of you.
Sam

I am really pissed

Today is not my day.

Haven´t slept enough, overslept and almost missed my train for an interview, I am tired and I shouldn´t be. Who am I to complain about the fact that I haven´t had the time to find something international due to the fact that headhunter kept calling and keeping my busy for two weeks? Who am I to complain about the fact that I will earn less in the next months than at my old firm since I am starting fresh in a new area with splendid options for the time after the apprentice-period?

Here´s what I am pissed about: I went to several miserable towns in Germany for interviews where typical german people sat and they are ok. We are talking about huge companies. But the sum of NOT working internationally, having to commute up to 3 per day and not going to the south due my miserable finances does not really make my day. And today things added up to something in my throat....

This is soonissimo in reverse and I am off now in order to write some applications to Spain. Please continue keeping fingers crossed and I will come back with good news soon.

cheers,
B

yuchhu!

I love it, yesterday the fridge was about to burst:

the door opens and my guests just start coming in without me having to do anything but smile and "nurture" them :). we were about 15 people and starting at 11.00 in the morning we went on until 7-ish pm.

If I think about it: my appartment must consider me boring, having spent so much time in school or cramming at home by myself. So appartment, here you go, yesterday you were in demand of hosting my guests ;)

Sorry I did not take any pictures but I will take care of presenting people one after the other here in soonissimo so you guys know "who´s who"

A big hug and thank you for coming by yesterday and for joining in the future for those of you who could not come :)

good news

all,

Lorena and me discussed a few days ago that is has been almost one year since we went to Chicago to Join Keren and Ben at their wedding, it feels like ages ago and yet like I saw them all yesterday for coffee, it must be the blogging...

Anyway, Keren´s Ben wrote something about people being surrounded by blond people tend to become "lighter" in the head :)
These days, I am around myself a lot and I am really getting confused :) :

I was scared of having to make too many compromises with a new job since I have taken a new technology path. It´s almost scary after a year of so much hard work, but apparently it was worth the risk and the nerves! My home feels like an office ever since I came back from Berlin: my phone keeps ringing and I am having a couple of interviews throughout the next days, huge companies. So, I am trying to bundle my energies and carry them to people, so everybody gets the best they deserve :))))

I really hope that within the next four weeks I will get something good to start with in my new area.

Berlin: hard work for everyone but us :)

All,

the last few days the following happened: Beatrix and Christian supposedly consider me crazy ´cause I had so much fun with them, while they had a lot of stress they handled with the greatest of ease (they will protest here again, but that is fine with me :) )! Their daughter Greta is so cute and sweet, her parents adore her and their home invites to literally hang out and relax. It feels so good to be with them, we know each other forever (since university in 1993), we have written exams together, looked after each other since then especially when we grew up in professional and private things and still laugh our heads off about the little things in life, (like the foto below), all-in-all we have something very precious to hold and I am sooooooooooooo happy about it!

Sam was busy too. As he learned in Chicago with Dov-Tov and T-Rex, it is the utmost fun looking out of the window with other cuddly toys, such as The Owl, The Resident Bear (the Fish stayed on the ground, don´t know why) so I suppose they had maybe had great things to discuss about life as peluches, about what children love most, but at minimum a great time simply observing the sky/neighbours. Hence, the following foto to me looks like taken at an after-work-party in the lounge with playing-gal Greta, taken by his public relation manager (in this case, that would be you Beatrix) :)

Beatrix, Christian,Greta thank you so much for the greatest time and a big hug to you!
Yours, B

yesterday, Loreley; TODAY Anina s birthday

Went to München yesterday and couldn´t take Sam with me, he wouldn´t have felt comfortable with business people, so he missed some culture, I went past this piece of culture on the way down to München:

The mountain Loreley, which is famous for the little girl that was sitting on it´s top, combing her blond hair, singing and making sailors so fuzzy they would not overcome the obstacles in the river Rhine and drown with their boats....

following this link you will see nicer fotos! http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loreley

Also, congrats to Anina, it´s her birthday today and all the best again, it was so nice seeing you yesterday!!!!! (ps: the indoor fotos did not work, don´t know why)

La luna llena sobre Ithaca :)

Ithaca

As you set out for Ithaca
hope your road is a long one,
full of adventure, full of discovery.
Laistrygonians, Cyclops,
angry Poseidon - don't be afraid of them:
you' ll never find things like that on your way
as long as you keep your thoughts raised high,
as long as a rare excitement
stirs your spirit and your body.
Laistrygonians, Cyclops,
wild Poseidon - you won't encounter them
unless you bring them along inside your soul,
unless your soul sets them up in front of you.

Hope your road is a long one.
May there be many summer mornings when,
with what pleasure, what joy,
you enter harbours you're seeing for the first time;
may you stop at Phoenician trading stations
to buy fine things,
mother of pearl and coral, amber and ebony,
sensual perfume of every kind -
as many sensual perfumes as you can;
and may you visit many Egyptian cities
to learn and go on learning from their scholars.

Keep Ithaca always in your mind.
Arriving there is what you're destined for.
But don't hurry the journey at all.
Better if it lasts for years,
so you're old by the time you reach the island,
wealthy with all you've gained on the way,
not expecting Ithaca to make you rich.

Ithaca gave you the marvelous journey.
Without her you wouldn't have set out.
She has nothing left to give you now.
And if you find her poor, Ithaca won't have fooled you.
Wise as you will have become, so full of experience,
you'll have understood by then what these Ithakas mean.

inner compass - or: trust your intuition

Imagine being stressed out and:

*fearing to accomplish what you really want like La Golfa said, that being the real object in the way
**just having left a loooong and very funny interview for a great international job
***just having left a looong and very funny interview for a great international job in the wrongest of all cities in the wrong country

Standing unknowingly on the platform, closing my eyes and listening to "hoy igual que ayer" from Ana Torroja, a strong wind blew into my face, the train came in and I realized I literally (and erroneously) would have gone north instead of south.

took the right train from the right platform to the south and left a big smile for the great international job in the wrong town in the wrong country

Sam gets a party! pssssshhhhhhhh!!!!

All,

Sam is back home and we went through fotos, given the fact that his birthday is approaching. So much has happened! All in all one of the nicest pictures, taken by Sam from a tree in Bonn in May is this one, whilst barbecueing outside and having a blast:

I want to repeat that, only inhouse, brunching, with the Moon and the Sun OUTSIDE, but please feel free to come by on Dec 2nd!

Shall you meet Sam in between, shush ;)

Bring booze and whomever you want to bring, let´s celebrate!

head-banging in the parking lot

You guys,

Sam came by on Friday to greet, my dear fluffy fellow is still travelling with Mon and they came to Köln and he loved the following story as an amendment to the previous blog.

During the 3 hour long examination on Friday, we were interrupted and went out for 20 minutes in order to re-boot systems, long story.

Anyway, I still felt full fo agrression and like having to listen to race against the machine, the song bombtrack is something very special and I guess it was perfect. To relieve stress I started headbanging in a parking lot were supposedly nobody could see me, bad-hair day combined.

That´s what the big company I might be joining does to oneself! A blond freak in the parking lot....

Hugs from Sam to all of you,
B

the lightness of being

Dearest all,

today is a strange day.

Woke up, in the mood of listening to Race against the machine and did so.
Then, I wanted to die (metaphorically, of course). Then I took one of the good-luck-socks (Sendung mit der Maus, Bea!), good-luck-pen, bad hair and a broken brain into the exam.

We had some stressy additional problems to bear in the exam and therefore I guess I will be upgraded into the group of people having passed the exam because I only missed the goal with one point.

Anyway, I will continue learning in November to stay ahead of the curve.

Now, I am very tired, incredibly relieved and in the mood to celebrate, talk to all of you soon, and cheer with Sam and Mon this evening, not knowing where the night will take us, quite probably into our preferred bar!

A BIG HUG to everybody, love and miss you all

17 reasons why - 2nd edition

Dear all,

I am happy because:

1. my head hasn´t exploded yet though the exam is near and I am quite likely to fail (no fishing for compliments, rather statistics in ratio with what I still lack PLUS I can be an idiot!)

2. Sam is having a good time with Auntie Mon:

3. I am soon able to do THIS:

4. For at least 4 days I will not have to touch a book unless it has to deal with romances, comics or Spanish

5. I will be able to play with Emilia the piano, she is still here and guess she is staying!

6. vanilla croissants did not hurt my shape because I basically did not eat anything else for two weeks and trust me, it´s not even possible to have more than two per day :)

7. I will be able to see my dear friend Bea and her little daughter Greta in Berlin SOONISSIMO

8. The planning for India is ahead then

9. have a party this Friday when the hazzle is done

10. drink one cocktail on Friday´s party night wishing you all well and sending thoughts

11. see last month´s Schnucki, yes, there is one every month to observe from afar but never touch :) (ps. schnucki is diminutive for adorable male eye-candy, we had that in Bonn University every day, even with rankings :) pps: Keren, pls tell Dalia, I think she still considers me gay, but in the other hand side, who cares :)))

12. uff, writing the rest of the 17 reasons why once I´m done

Love you all,
B

All,

I am definitely NOT losing my mind when I send you this, it´s rather something encouraging addressed to all of those sucessful women who could not stop judging themselves. coffeeeeeee

Dear all,

the genius composer Bach once made fun of his contemporaneans, i.e. the mocking-coffee-mob, it was believed to cause hallucinations and histeria :) his character, a father said his daughter wouldn´t get married if she´d continued drinking the "monkey´s drink" (please don´t tell Samuel, he loves the piece)

couldn´t care less, Johann Sebastian! In memoriam I enjoy a good coffee every morning! :)

oh, and there is sort of an relief going on, with the exam I am going to take, stakes are 50/50 to pass it, it is the most difficult exam on the market. So my recipe is to stay cool and walk right through!

And I miss Sam, he is still travelling and I hope he will be home soon, my little peluche :)

Big hug,

knowledge is light...

if so, I hope to be quite visible by the end of next month :)))

Anyway, I don´t care, throughout the last few days I have received a ton of messages, TONs of headhunters, some even from Spain, and more importantly, from you guys cheering me up, and for today there is nothing more to say than:

THANK YOU!

For those of you who will not see me in a while, I ought to look like this by the end of the year again:

And that is important because I am thinking about having a party once this is over,, by the end of the year!

where is the shore?

For the sake of patience, I am reahallyyyyy trying to keep my cool which is not always easy, I have to admit.

I do not really know how to store all of the information necessary to pass the exam next month, and hysteric laughter and panic attacks shake hands at some points. But today I made some progress, trying to be human to myself and hoping the shore will be reached by the end of the year.

How do you guys stay calm in moments of professional overdose?

When do you guys know that the shore is close?

a big hug to all of you,

17 reasons why!

my 17 favourite reasons for a smile at the moment are:

-spanish
-a croissant filled with vanilla pudding from the italian bakery around the corner (every morning, yummie)
-the scent of lemon emmanating from the freshly done laundry
-2nd rapsodie from Brahms (I think it´s opus 79 interpreted by Hélène Grimaud)
-afternoon nap
-realizing that the stuff I am learning actually sticks
-having cleaned the house
-wearing my preferred skirt
-greeting the tree in the patio
-happy elderly people, happy kids, happy dogs
-thinking about my friends and their families, there are already so many happy children with great parents!
-silent crazy teachers in my school, silent crazy colleagues in school
-jambalaya, pizza with champignons
-the thought of mediterranean sea and the light there
-"rolling around" on the floor like a happy puppy on a yoga mat and call it Pilates
-singing out loud not really hearing myself because the mp3-playeris far too loud

what makes you smile?

ps: you guys, Keren inspired me with the world map, isn´t that cool?

focus on excellence

Dear all,

my dear fluffy fellow is on his way for a great career. For funsies, I have created a virtual company called Samuel Escudero Buenaluz GmbH in the SAP-test-environment is he is already living up to being the boss, right now he is with Moni on a coaching program for monkey entrepreneurs and should be looking like this:

Yesterday, staying at our preferred bar in Cologne with Raubfisch and discussing what is important and what is not, I felt that kind of itch that bothers when there is a dream to fulfill and still a few obstacles to overcome. MY dream at the moment is having a job I have been designing in my head and will quite probably get, go to Spain and live passion. To all of you and Sam and me: shall patience, strength and strong focus be with us to go through with what will stand in the way to succeed. We deserve all of it.

Spain, I am on my way.

Besos a todos,

Man, theres a vampire in my bathtub!

Dear all,

MTV has cultivated a weird form of entertainment, such as the format punk´d, led by Ashton Kutcher, the guy dating Demi Moore. Dreadful!!!! One the of the two episodes I ever saw is this one, featuring Justin Timberlake, I could not really believe it. Up to here, the bad part of this week`s blog is this one:):

Justin Timberlake responded, I love that guy, and the following video cracks me up every evening, I guess it is a great way of drying my brain :)

Buster Keaton, cyclones and being famous

Well, well, well,

last weekend was filled with funny movies, laughing our heads off went it came to "the haunted house" with Buster Keaton, one of the silent black and white films in the old style...

After a little research, I found out the following about him:

"On a relentlessly hot day in July 1898, Buster Keaton, not yet three years old, lost part of a finger in a clothes wringer, had several stitches after a stone thrown into the air gashed his forehead, and was carried off by a cyclone."
His parents were scared leaving him alone after that and therefore took him to their work, both of them actors. That was the beginning of his career. I wish my clumsiness would lead me somewhere professionally...

Well, at least I can put this on my wishlist: If once in my life I am able to make people happy like Buster Keaton did (1 minute!), I guess I will be happy, he has given us 45 minutes of our lives crying from the laughter and having stomach aches without saying word!

But, much more important, I wish happiness for you all, no matter the shape!

Big hugs,
B

ps: my English feels weird lately, please apologise, that is another wish of mine - writing well :)))

cell-phone acquaints laundry :)

Dear friends,

my place is a very friendly place, I will describe the latest event later. At the moment, I guess the studying during the week and hanging out during weekends damages my brain. Which is good for Samuel, my friend La Golfa and me took him to the playground last week for a foto session. One of many, as you guys might have found out already, but it is really fun:

Afterwards, he was so tired, he had to take a siesta, after giving me few advices on how to shake sand out of its fur, etc....

And then, as you might know from the very first stories (see the spooky gang) in this blog we have strange things going on in my house. This time, it was not a question of pets having fun, nohoooo...... Apparently, the laundry and the cell-phone have been communicating for a while and we only guess that the washing maching invited cell for a really good clean. This week, we already had a plastic bowl meeting the hot plate which made it literally melt, some pasta getting very friendly with the bottom of the pan until is was deeply black and today, whilst cleaning up the appartment we heared a very loud sound coming our of the washing machine. And with all the innocence in the world, the cell appeared inside in the window whilst the centrifuge was working, I guess it was clean enough :)

Hopefully, all the elements on the planets might want to meet in my appartment but I am begging them to keep the house intact, that´s all I am asking for :) Maybe, and here´s a second thought, some practical supervision from my side might be goooood!

Anyway, a week is starting and I wish you guys out there all the best in the world, my laundry instruction being; keep cell-phones apart from chatty washing machines at all times and NO bleach, please!

Huggies!

let s start cramming :)

Dear all,

we are finally getting the cramming started. I feel like for the last few months, I have been listening to the prelude of what we are supposed to know for the certification in October. The first in-depth chapters of the modules we are supposed to learn throughout the next weeks are very complex and apparently from a different planet (the SAP-one). So, I get a little help from my dear Samuel, putting flashcards in order and helping me keeping patient. Isn´t that cute?

For breaks at home, we have a good view, a tree in the patio is greeting us and it calms, while we sit in the perfect chair we got from our old friend P from my old town, Samuel will soon be on a foto accordingly, so you guys will literally have the full picture soon!

A big hug to all of you and keep me posted!

back in life - soonissimo

Dear all,

soonissimo real life will start again! I feel like not having talked or written to you guys in ages, but I guess things will become better!

To tell you the truth, the life has been a blast, study-wise, and nerv-wrecking on the other hand side due some issues I might already have been mentioning in the one or other occasion! BUT here´s the head´s up for all of you: I am happy.

Imagine going to school, 8 hours of lessons straight, even a little romance in school involved, I am having it all, high-level high-school all over again :) ! Well, one thing is missing, which is: contacting everybody this message is addressed to. I miss the little and great things about all of you and I am sorry if you don´t hear about it in person, but better times to come!

A big hug, a great deal of smiles to all of you and for those of you who want to contribute to this blog, just drop me a line.

little human beings and Paris

Dear all,

we, and by that meaning Samuel my peluche and me have been meaning to write to your for a looooooooooooooong time.

We miss communicating to everybody as an individual out there, but we can tell you, the world is a funny one!

Last week, we have been invited to Paris and it was fun! see the world through Samuel´s eyes!

Imagine, we saw the Eiffel tower again, had a both great hosts and companionship and got really drunk (as far as humans go), enjoyed great food and a bunch of good vibes!

But the BEST NEWS in a long is the following, we good a heart-moving call from Bridget´s best friend B, she announced that this very special weekend, she gave birth to her daughter and I could not be happier about her, she sounded happy, relieved and proud of her little daughter and I all I want to do is see them all.

To the brand-new human Greta and her parents, I wish you all the luck and best in the world.

Greta, B and Christian, monkey-hugs from Samuel and a BIG human one,

thank you for listening

Dear all,

it has been a while since all of you did something great - listen, to me, to your beloved ones, a child, a dog, leaves, water.

Maria Sipka at Xing/openBC has given me a good reason to think about that because of all of YOU out there.

Let me know what you think!

I hope to be able to thank you for it from time to time.
A big hug to everybody,
B

Which of these quotes resonates with you? And why?
What does one have to do to be a great listener?

Listening Quotes and Proverbs

Sara Paddison, Hidden Power of the Heart
Deep heart listening and speaking your truth generates an exhilarating "heart talk" frequency. "Heart talk" is care in action and builds friendship. As you learn to see everyone as your friend, and not as an enemy, you release judgments. Just keep your heart open to them as you speak your truth.

African proverb
Much silence makes a powerful noise.

Unknown
Man who know little say much.
Man who know much say little.

Robert Greenleaf
Many attempts to communicate are nullified by saying too much.

J. Isham
Listening is an attitude of the heart, a genuine desire to be with another which both attracts and heals.

Fran Lebowitz
The opposite of talking is not listening. The opposite of talking is waiting.

Native American
Listen or thy tongue will keep thee deaf.

James Nathan Miller
There is no such thing as a worthless conversation, provided you know what to listen for. And questions are the breath of life for a conversation.

John Lahr
Accustomed to the veneer of noise, to the shibboleths of promotion, public relations, and market research, society is suspicious of those who value silence.

Every person in this life has something to teach me — and as soon as I accept that, I open myself to truly listening.
Thanks to Catherine Doucette

Brenda Ueland
Listening is a magnetic and strange thing, a creative force...When we are listened to, it creates us, makes us unfold and expand. Ideas actually begin to grow within us and come to life...When we listen to people there is an alternating current, and this recharges us so that we never get tired of each other...and it is this little creative fountain inside us that begins to spring and cast up new thoughts and unexpected laughter and wisdom. ...Well, it is when people really listen to us, with quiet facinated attention, that the little fountain begins to work again, to accelerate in the most surprising way.

Oliver Wendell Holmes
It is the province of knowledge to speak And it is the privilege of wisdom to listen.

Paul Tillich
The first duty of love is to listen.

Henry David Thoreau
The greatest compliment that was ever paid me was when one asked me what I thought, and attended to my answer.

M. Scott Peck
You cannot truly listen to anyone and do anything else at the same time.

Wilson Mizner
A good listener is not only popular everywhere, but after a while he knows something.

Edward H. Richards
The wise old owl lived in an oak;

To be listened to is, generally speaking, a nearly unique experience for most people. It is enormously stimulating. It is small wonder that people who have been demanding all their lives to be heard so often fall speechless when confronted with one who gravely agrees to lend an ear. Man clamors for the freedom to express himself and for knowing that he counts. But once offered these conditions, he becomes frigthened.

If the person you are talking to doesn't appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear.

Wisdom is the reward for a lifetime of listening ... when you'd have preferred to talk.

Josh Billings
The best time to hold your tongue is the time you feel you must say something or bust.

M. Scott Peck, MD
An essential part of true listening is the discipline of bracketing, the temporary giving up or setting aside of one's own prejudices, frames of reference and desires so as to experience as far as possible the speaker's world from the inside, step in inside his or her shoes. This unification of speaker and listener is actually and extension and enlargement of ourselves, and new knowledge is always gained from this. Moreover, since true listening involves bracketing, a setting aside of the self, it also temporarily involves a total acceptance of the other. Sensing this acceptance, the speaker will fell less and less vulnerable and more and more inclined to open up the inner recesses of his or her mind to the listener. As this happens, speaker and listener begin to appreciate each other more and more, and the duet dance of love is begun again.

Thoreau
It takes two to speak the truth — one to speak and another to hear.

Dear all,

it has been a couple of weeks now, that the BBC journalist has been abducted in Gaza and nobody knows about his whereabouts.

I wish he is alive and that he will be with his family soon.

For those of you who want to leave a comment, BBC has created a space: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/6459521.stm

Hugs to all of you out there,
Bridget

Raubfisch, thank youuuuuu

Dear Raubfisch,

thank you so much for your great invitation! Bridget and me can´t wait to visit you! Will take some time though, I am practising typing Bridget´s CV in spanish on the computer and I cannot find some things.... the drunken/reversed question mark, the "n" that has a wave above it, and my monkey mouth has difficulties pronouncing the "c" and "z", I am of hebrew origin and it is so strange!

BUT as you can see, I am preparing for Spain, with cooooooool Ray-Ban glasses! I haven´t found something to protect my delicate hair yet, but I guess they will have something on-site? How is PON, the horse without name? And Indie the huge living horse?

In the spirit of soonissimo I am happy to announce to you that I am getting a great deal of help from Madrid and Köln in order to get Bridget on her way to Spain! And she does not look that scared anymore!

Proudly, reporting from the Bridgeto-embassy,

yours truly with monkey hugs and 1000 questions about human life,
Samuel!!!!!!!

ps: Bridget invites everybody for a drink in January, and it will most probably NOT be Cologne to go to!!!!!! :) OLÉ
pps: Conchita is very excited about this opportunity and wants to thank you!!!!! she said fieeeeeeeep before leaving today!!!!!

Going back and coming home

Dear Bridget!

There is an appartment right on the left of the pool... there we are keeping a double room for you and pet-ever will be escorting you on your next trip to Spain! There's a large beach around next door where conchita could make her first swim-experiences!

Hoping to seeing you soon there!

yours raubfisch

Das Leben der Anderen

All,

Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck has won the Oscar for the film The Other´s Life/the life of others. He had started his project with two ideas.

One of them: Lenin thought he would not finish his revolution if he continued hearing the Apassionata from Beethoven because it was too beautiful and made him caress people´s heads instead of chopping them.

Second idea: Somebody observing people has tears running down his cheeks because he is deeply impressed about what he hears from the supposed "enemy".

I am so happy for him, his dream came true! The fame-aspect is another thing I do not really know how to put, but anyway....

Congratulations!!!!

I wish to see you guys for "Karneval in Köln" next year

Dear all,

1 million people can´t be wrong, visiting Köln for Karneval.

My part of Köln looks like this in this very minute:

some people mightsee it like this, also this very minute ;-)

In the old fashion, people in the processions you can see here distributed/threw hard candies around, and other stuff. When I wished for as many of you coming to Köln next year, somebody threw a bar of chocolate with the spitting image of 500 Euros right in front of my feet, what does that tell us? Travelling pocket money! I will save that for you :-)

Make it one million and one, or two, or 10 visitors!

Huggies,
B

ps: Samuel, thank you for lending me your camera

La vita é bella

Ciao Bella,

well I don't like hairy guys, but Samuel is certainly the most handsome one and he is always silent what makes him even more interesting :)

Oskar Pablo Neruda, Gonzaga and Conchita are looking forward to getting to know him better.

And my wishes?

Never stop dreaming.

To be continued ;) ...

presentation of wishful thinkers at soonissimo

All,
I am (still) in the very comfortable position of knowing you all, with all of your virtues and what not. But how about the rest, would you like to know more about the people presenting their ideas?

Just let me know.

Big hug to all of you,
Bridget or Birgit, whatever comes easier to you :-)

Be careful of your wishes - they might come true ;-)

It is soooo good to share one's positive ideas and wishes, when you see such trouble all around you.

So, here are my wishes:

to live in Scotland for a while just enjyoing life, painting and so on
search for the story of some old stones there
train the emotional intelligence of kids
more liberty in my job
have a child of my own with my husband
buy a little black harp when I'm forty-five
create a series of sky impressions (fotographs or paintings)
learn telepathy (okay, that's a bit weird) ;-)

and of course,
more emotional and spiritual development on earth, no matter in which religion,

Have fun,
Anina

charlie brown and snoopy in the soonissimo mood?

Maybe, also Charly Brown was in the mood for changes or an adventure?

Well, then this dream came true, if adventure means talking dirty for once on-air. At least the cast for the US-show "scrubs" has put new -and not necessarily clean- words into their mouths, if oyu know the show, it´s even funnier: JD the Doctor(=newbie or Bambi) on intership aka Charlie Brown, Linus = attending Doctor Cox, Schröder and Lucy the couple Turk and Carla, etc.

Watch this, and please keep children and sensitive people out for approximately 10 minutes ;-)

Huggies,
B

-> having children with my beloved future husband and getting old together with him!!!

I'm happy to hear about your dreams & wishes!

my top drawer contains...

All, since the pets have started, I have to follow adressing my wishes...

Since I have accomplished starting with Tennis and being a passionate dilettant on the piano, here go my wishes:

going down the path of Santiago de Compostela.
learn water-surfing, sailing on a Catamaran and I would like to go to Tibet.
A second trip to India is already scheduled :-) and I will see Keith Jarrett in concert soon!
Once in my Life, I would like to play the complete Goldbergvariations by J.S. Bach.
I would like to meet in person Hélène Grimaud, the pianist who lives close to New York.
less politics and more common sense and heart in the world

Fellows, I am impatient to see your input.

A big hug,
Birgit

spooky gang

Yersterday, arriving home, Kitty Cat (see foto) was already giggling, there was something going on in my appartment....

My two buddies Harry (he is known for swallowing hot water and keeping me warm in winter time) and the permanently snoaring (!) sheep Snookles apparently had made their way into the kitchen to prepare themselves hot water at the water boiler, I guess they fell asleep again, aren´t they cute?

In the bathroom, Patuco the duck had left the top of the laundry machine and was singing the new song "finahally in the sink"

Samuel had decided to invade the living-room. sitting on the thickest books he could find, he was playing monkey serenades and Emilia the piano was really happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "oogaaah ga duh, lalalala, ogah dugahhh"

In the dormitory, Wombat and Enrique had a blast trying to come down from the closed, they were peprared to go into the patio.

All of them had heared about soonissimo and want to start the party!!!!! If I am very unfortunate, I will have to send them to Munich to the teddy-party-planner.... :-) Anyway, they already started stuff and so shall we! Enjoy life out there and have fun

soonissimo....

All, this is the first post for soonissimo, which will only be viewed by Lorena for the moment.

suposedly we will have more traffic here with the time.

Founders: Lorena and me, having thought about creating a network for people to exchange about ideas, the crazier, the better!

I have just learned, that it´s her Mom´s birthday, so it is going to be fun to see what has happened here throughout the next months when Mrs. Palacios is one year cuter than now!!!!!! AND FELICIDADES, of course :-)

best to all of you out there, even though in advance

Birgit
